I was told that i snore too much while sleeping. How can i stop snoring while sleeping?

Q) Though I cannot confirm this situation since i cannot hear myself while sleeping, but i believe it becouse my father use to snore very well and my brothers do too. How can i stop snoring with or without medication.I need help.

A) It’s possible to treat snoring through lifestyle modifications such as losing weight, quitting smoking, changing sleep habits, and avoiding alcohol and sedatives before you go to bed. If snoring is due to nasal congestion, nasal strips, decongestants, or nasal corticosteroid sprays may be used. If these modifications do not improve the snoring, then it is time to see a doctor.
